"We loved this place! The tasting room staff is top notch. Such a great tasting we joined their wine club! Since we joined their wine club I guess it goes without saying that we enjoyed the wines! And the view... the view is amazing! "
"Came here on a whim after leaving another winery and so glad that we did. The wines were delicious and the staff was so courteous and knowledgeable. Will definitely make another visit soon!"
"Go for the great staff, go for the fabulous view on a sunny day, or go for the fabulous wine's (My favorite being the 2014 Vermentino). Whatever reason you decide to go, if you live wine, go!!!!"
"Great, pet friendly environment overlooking beautiful scenery. Their reds have nice body and tannin, and all of their wines achieve bright acidity. Definitely a wonderful hidden gem!!"
"Piccone Winery has done things correctly. They waited over a dozen years before opening to allow their vines to mature. They have excellent wines and a beautiful view. I highly recommend visiting this winery if you enjoy excellent red wines."
"This winery is definitely one to look out for - for such a young winery I was impressed with the quality of wine. While in Italy I learned of the negroamaro grapes and Piccione may be the only winery in NC to grow them. Their Nero wine did not dissapoint."
