Visit Zimmerman Vineyards for a sampling of our White, Red, Premium and Sweet wines. Nestled among the Uwharrie Mountains, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the vines, gardens and surrounding mountainside from the flagstone terrace.
Zimmerman Vineyards wine labels depict an image, sketched by Leslie Zimmerman, of Sisyphus, the Greek mythological King of Corinth, who was forever condemned to pushing a great boulder uphill. They mirror their experiences to those of Sisyphus with one exception, that their efforts have been goal-driven and have led them to the realization of a dream.
Whether it is your first visit or your 100th, they would love to host you for a wine tasting, your private event or just stop by for a glass of wine (or bottle) and enjoy the views from their terrace.
They are closed for the winter and will re-open in March. Keep an eye out for pop upcoming events they will be hosting. What people are saying about Zimmerman Vineyards:
"Though smaller and less glitzy than some other nearby vineyards, The Zimmerman family has established a world-class repertoire of reds and whites that meet or exceed the standards set by larger and better known vineyards in the South."
"Zimmerman's is the place! The view is awesome! The staff was so friendly, even all the customers! People drove from all over to be there. And my friends and I seen why! Fantastic place for a girls day out! We really enjoyed ourselves! We will be back! "
"Loved the wines and loved the tasting room. The owner is a hoot and his wife super sweet. We had a blast. The wines are kind of on the expensive side or I wouldl have bought more but will enjoy what we did take home. Three thumbs up."
"Scenic, relaxed and much better than an average NC winery experience. The Uwharrie Mountains add a picture postcard backdrop to the outdoor tasting area. Zimmerman's is off the beaten track but worth the trip. It exceeded all of my expectations..."
"Finally visited Zimmerman Vineyard and was not disappointed! My BFF and I did a tasting and both love dry reds. We were pleasantly surprised with the white merlot. Tasting room was a quaint cedar log home. A wonderful afternoon!"
"Zimmerman Vineyard has a smaller tasting room versus some of the others, but very friendly. It's so cool to visit a winery and actually talk to the owner, the one who does most of the work. Highly recommended for a visit while touring wine country in NC!"
